I repair and install garage door openers for a living, and have always stripped the wires manually; I took it out and tested it today, and it's really nice. You can adjust the length of the wire to be stripped at the end with a manual adjuster. it also have a wire cutter and crimpers between the handles. This will save you lots of time if you have a few to do at a time.

Ahh, the tools! I have been looking for a set of self adjusting wire strippers at an affordable cost for months. All the sets I have now (including a set similar to these but without the self adjustment) require me to pick and choose where I put the wire or risk cutting half of the strands when I go to strip them. This is incredibly inconvenient when I am in the middle of a project and only have one hand to grab the wires and strip them. I used this set yesterday when wiring up a set of trailer lights and literally was amazed at how well these worked. there is a little adjuster you set to stop the wire from being stripped too far back, and the rest is done by the tool. The strips were done quickly and perfectly every time. The stripper has a nice solid feel to it, and I wasnt scared to throw them back into the garage when I was done stripping wire. There is also a set of crimps on the bottom (the nice style not the walmart smash the crimp and hope that it squeezes down tight enough to keep your wire from falling out when you are driving down the road). I love the bright orange color, they are super easy to spot when I have a group of tools lying on the trailer. Seriously, I couldnt be more impressed with these, I would highly recommend them to anyone who even occasionally uses strippers or a crimping tool.
